Kundalika River Ultra Marathon is definitely one of India's toughest ultra marathons. Situated on the banks of river kundalika, having huge inclines and soaring temperature statistics, Kundalika River Marathon is a tough route to beat and is not for the faint hearted.
It is an out and back route. You run the distance to the Half way mark point and back to the starting point.The route is good public road for the entire distance, along the Kundalika river. This is a difficult route! Ample water stations and aid stations stocked with energy drink and other runner needs are available. Route is wavy road with most of it along the Kundalika river and mostly tar road passing along the fields. first 3 Km and the last 3 Km of the route is all up and down hill, that part will prove challenging.
